Police believe the gang may have fled after waking either Linda or Jamie, 42, guitarist with The Kills.

A spokesman said: “They got in by climbing over the back fence but fled after disturbing someone who woke up. There is a possibility that they had inside knowledge of the house’s layout.”

A 24-year-old man was arrested nearby after the raid in Maida Vale, West London.
